the meadows Campsite at Pool Bridge Farm -

Closes September 30th 2024 re-opens April 2025

Bookings will reopen in February

The 10-acre Meadows Campsite is set in beautiful Yorkshire countryside at the heart of Pool Bridge Farm. The large, flat grass site has mature oak trees around its borders and is situated 300m from the basic amenities block that includes; two showers, male, and female, and accessible toilets, a pot wash station and a drinking water tap. The new amenities block adjacent to the campsite will be up and running in spring 2025.

With full access to the lakes included in the price of your stay, we hope the tranquil campsite will be enjoyed by swimmers and their families in the presence of like-minded people.

For those wishing to enjoy the lakes at their peaceful best, access for campers is from 6:30 am, an hour before those with day tickets, with swimming available up until 9 pm daily (or sunset - whichever is earliest).

The campsite is set in a ‘dark area’ with limited light pollution making the star gazing (weather permitting) which is very special indeed.

As the site is very spacious, pitches are chosen upon arrival so you can ensure you can be with those you wish to be near, or away from all others if you so wish. Pitch sizes are not limited with multiple tents allowed per pitch, noting that prices are per person, not per pitch.

Campervans, such as VW Transporters, are allowed, however, please call beforehand if you wish to bring anything larger onto the grass site as this can be an issue if the weather has been inclement. Please note that campervan pitches need to be added to the basket separately (use the continue shopping button to go back and add more).

Horseshoe Hardstanding Pitches: There are two hardstanding pitches located opposite the Horseshoe Lake. These are ideal for campervans or small motor homes, especially during wetter weather. Though the hardstanding pitches are not in the Meadows Camping field by the side of the Horseshoe Lake, so not as tranquil during the day when the lakes are open to day visitors, they do have but do have a beautiful view.

During the day 7:30 am-9pm, the lakes are open to day visitors, whilst day visitors do not have access to the campsite they do share the current facilities block.

There are NO ELECTRIC hook-ups, no wi-fi and limited phone data, therefore switch off your devices and enjoy the peace and quiet.
