Adult Only Swimming Lakes:

Pool Bridge Farm offers those 18 years of age and over, the opportunity to enjoy wild swimming in three beautiful lakes with each lake having its unique feel and character. Adults are also welcome to use the family-friendly Q Lake should they wish to swim train around its 960m perimeter or simply be a big kid and rediscover the joys of jumping in.

Open every day from 7:30am until sunset or 9:00pm, whichever is earlier, with those staying on the campsite and pass holders available to swim from 6:30am. All customers wishing to gain access to the lake or lakeside must have a valid ticket.

Please note there is no jumping in allowed in any of the 3 adult lakes, due to varied depth. Please use the designated entrances and exits.

The Monet Lake is a tranquil lake with the lake and lakeside to be used for activities such as relaxing, reading, meditating or chatting quietly with a friend. The 200m long lake, situated just through the open changing area, takes its name from Claude Monet, the French impressionist painter, due to the large lily pads that run down the centre of the lake. Steps provide easy access to this stunning lake with its large grass banks providing plenty of room to relax after a swim.

The M Lake shaped like the letter ‘M’, is adults only around 500m around the perimeter of this lake, depending on the route taken. Our Lake View Sauna is situated at the end of M Lake. The area around the Sauna will be kept as a tranquil adult-only zone so please keep away from these areas unless you have a Sauna session booked.

The Horseshoe Lake with its 300m circuit, is a favourite of lots of our regular swimmers. This lake tends to be quite peaceful, however picnicking on the banks is still permitted. Lots of swimmers are using this lake for exercise and training. The lake can be found to the left of the track heading to the Meadows campsite.

Swimming facilities include 2 lakeside saunas; ladies, gents & disabled toilets; an open changing barn which has 2 small female and male changing areas for privacy; a mixed gender changing cabin for those with lake view sauna; an onsite Café (open Wednesday to Sunday as well as Bank Holiday Mondays). Currently, our shower facilities are only available to campers - please do not use them.

Our lakes are home to lots of wildlife and we therefore only welcome those who respect the wildlife and wish to immerse themselves in the natural tranquillity of the lakes. We respectfully ask that there is no music, alcohol, no-smoking or unsociable behaviour at all, and, if you are not prepared to follow the rules, please feel free to head elsewhere.

By purchasing a ticket you understand that USE OF THE LAKES AND LAKESIDE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
