Spring Swimming at Pool Bridge Farm
Pool Bridge Farm offers four stunning, peaceful and unique lakes for wild swimmers, nestled amidst nature, yet only 10 minutes from York city centre. We are a place where you can connect with nature, step away from the chaos of everyday life and relax. In spring we welcome children back, however, they are not allowed to enter the water until it reaches 12 degrees. Once this happens children’s swim tickets will be available. Children are welcome in Q Lake the other lakes are adult-only. The Monet Lake is a tranquil lake where you can swim amongst the beautiful flowering lilies. The M Lake is where you will find our four wood-fired saunas that can be pre-booked. The Horseshoe Lake offers a stunning 300m circuit.
A few things to note this Spring:
We are open for Day ticket Holders from 8:30am-8pm
All tickets must be purchased online before arriving to help manage numbers and car parking. If there are no tickets available we are sold out.
Other than guide dogs, we do not allow dogs to visit the site.
The safety and privacy of our customers is a priority to us. Therefore we politely request that you do not come for a ‘look around’.
No under-18s in the water until child swimming tickets are available to book. During spring the water will only become warm enough for the hardiest older children in wetsuits, so please do consider your child’s safety before booking them a ticket.
Paddle-boarding sessions must always be booked.
If you are new to outdoor swimming - please do your own research before visiting us and bring appropriate clothing and equipment.
