Directions:

By Car (from the Designer Outlet)

  • Head towards Selby for 1 mile until you reach a set of traffic lights next to a large car garage

  • Turn left towards Wheldrake

  • We’re exactly 1 mile down Wheldrake Lane on the left-hand side. Look out for a large sign approximately 250m before the entrance

Tip: The postcode might take you slightly past us (about 500m down the road), so for the smoothest journey, search “Pool Bridge Farm Wild Swimming” on Google Maps. (Heads up: there’s another Pool Bridge Farm 20 miles away - it’s a farm shop, so they might be a bit surprised if you turn up in your bathing suit.)

 
 

On-site:

  • Please drive sensibly down the road and pay attention to the ‘slow’ signs

  • You’ll spot our blue bridge logo on a sign next to the farm entrance

  • There is a 5mph limit on the driveway. Watch out for tortoises crossing!

  • Parking depends on the weather - follow the signs.

  • Check in with a team member on arrival. You will find them at our little reception hut.

By Bus:

  • The 18 bus runs from York town centre to the farm entrance, where there is a bus stop.

  • Check bus times here

By Cycle:

  • Start at Fulford Golf Course clubhouse on Heslington Lane

  • Take the bridleway to the left of the clubhouse, which leads all the way to Pool Bridge Farm without needing to use a road
